The AssertionErrorException was consistently occurs with the attached build combination when in the JDBCBC WSDL wizard. To reproduce: 1) Create a new BPEL project. 2) From the project, create a new JDBC WSDL via wizard (WSDL From Database) 3) Once the WSDL is created, open the wsdl file (double clicks on the wsdl icon) 4) Notice that the WSDL tab will be displayed. 5) Now without changing the WSDL content, click on the ‘Partner’ tab. User will now encounter the ‘java.lang.AssertionError’ exception. Once this occurs: It will continue to display the Exception popup anytime user perform any task (ie. Go to different tab etc). User will need to exit the NetBeans IDE to get rid of this popup. (see attached jpeg and the resulting project for reference)

Richard, It could be a bug with bpel editor in that build. I have tested this with the latest gavotte build and could not find this issue. Please verify with the latest one, if this problem still exists we might need to report to the bpel editor team.
Looks like the dev is not able to reproduce the issue.
