Description Ivan Sidorkin 2007-01-30 16:22:46 UTC
profiler build 070130
jdk1.5 and jdk1.6

- open Anagram Game application
- start Analyze Memory Usage profiling task
- click GC button on Profile Control Panel 10 times with interval around 1 sec

Heap size grew but used heap size is stable.

not reproduced on WinXP and Linux
reproduced on Solx86 and SolAMD64

I am not able to reproduce it on Solx86. Anyway since heap size is stable, there is no memory leak. I
suspect that this more JDK issue than profiler. Try to use jconsole to perform several GC to see if you can
reproduce it without profiler. Lowering priority to P3.
