Description rdelaplante 2007-02-15 19:34:59 UTC
I am working with a Visual Web Pack project that is a copy of an other one. To
make the copy I right clicked the project, copy project, and gave it a new name.
I have since made a number of changes to the copy.

When I run the copy, a stack dump shows up in the Sun App Server output console.
I can click on lines that are from my own source code. When I click on the
line, it brings up the code window of the original project and puts the cursor
on a line that is not what was being executed. If I open the same class in the
copied project and go to that line number, I see what the stack dump is telling
me about.

are both projacts open in the IDE when you click on the link?
Comment 2 rdelaplante 2007-02-21 03:00:54 UTC
I had no code windows open at the time. Both projects existed in the projects
tree on the left. I haven't touched the second project for several weeks until
I noticed the stack dump links were taking me to the wrong line because the
wrong file was open. If there's anything I can do to help diagnose the problem
let me know.

Will investigate and resolve in next release. Not targeted for 6.0
Comment 4 Vince Kraemer 2008-10-18 02:33:27 UTC
did this get fixed in 6.5?

please be prepared to discuss this issue on 2008/10/22
Comment 5 Nitya Doraisamy 2008-12-12 19:53:14 UTC
Cannot reproduce this issue. The exception link did take me back to the file in the correct project.
This issue has been open for quite a while and it could have been fixed by other changes.

If you still see the issue, please reopen.
