Build: Gavotte daily build 070303_1 I don't get this issue with milestone build 7b. Steps to reproduce it: 1. Create any sample app. For example SynchronousSample. 2. In Projects window, deploy SynchronousSampleApplication. 3. Will get "BUILD FAILED" with error message: run-jbi-deploy: [deploy-service-assembly] Deploying a service assembly... host=localhost port=4848 file=C:\Documents and Settings\HONG\SynchronousSample1\SynchronousSample1Application/dist/SynchronousSampleApplication.zip Failed execution of Deploy ERROR: (JBIMA1407) Required component sun-bpel-engine is not installed on target server. C:\Documents and Settings\HONG\SynchronousSample1\SynchronousSample1Application\nbproject\build-impl.xml:237: Service assembly deployment failed. BUILD FAILED (total time: 2 seconds) The build output will be attached.
This is due to recent JBI component name changes (http://www.netbeans.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=96088). Make sure your runtime components are updated following the instruction below: Before a new tools bundle installer is available, here is how you get the latest environment that supports the new JBI component names: 1. Get the latest Gavotte build: http://buildtraq.sfbay.sun.com/buildtraq/buildgrid.ctrl?project=oriondev&codeline=gavotte&buildType=CB&time=5 ; 2. Get the latest Glassfish: https://glassfish.dev.java.net/downloads/v2-b37.html ; 3. Get the latest Alaska components: http://alaska.stc.com/nightly-build/jbi_components_gf91_nb551/ ; 4. Uninstalls httpsoap binding component that comes with Glassfish and installs the Alaska components that you are interested in.
IMO, it should not be closed. I think this is a valid bug created by us... At the minimum, we should detect this condition and pop a message box explain this problem to our users.

Still fail to deploy Composite App with Hula build 200703181900 Here is the error I got when tried to deploy SchronousSample: pre-init: init-private: init-userdir: init-user: init-project: do-init: post-init: init-check: init-taskdefs: C:\Documents and Settings\HONG\My Documents\NetBeansProjects\SynchronousSample\SynchronousSampleApplication\nbproject\build-impl.xml:85: taskdef class org.netbeans.modules.compapp.projects.jbi.anttasks.GenerateJBIDescriptors cannot be found BUILD FAILED (total time: 0 seconds)
Sample projects currently don't work in NB 6.0. You might want to file a P1 bug against BPEL Sample module.
Fixed in hula build 070406_21. Compapp should be able to work with old component names transparently now. Old component names are converted automatically when compapp project is opened in NetBeans and broken references, if any, get resolved.
Verified and working fine with build# NetBeans IDE Dev (Build 20070409-0305) 1.6.0_01; Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM 1.6.0_01-b06 Windows XP version 5.1 running on x86 en_US (nb); Cp1252
