Description _ gsporar 2007-03-30 22:31:39 UTC
Using NetBeans 6.0 Milestone 8 on WinXP with JDK 6.

When I do memory profiling I set the checkbox for "Record stack traces for
allocations" option so that it is turned on.

I then click the OK button and begin profiling. I take a snapshot of results
and click the Info tab. Under Settings it says:

Record Stack Traces: No

Bummin'.... :-/

Luckily, there appears to be a workaround. If I create a custom memory
profiling setup (is that the right word a "setup"?) and I check the stack traces
option it seems to stick. I then use the custom setup and am able to get stack
traces for the allocations.

Should be fixed in daily builds.
