Description p_stern 2005-10-25 12:28:11 UTC
When a style is applied in OOo 2.0 (either with the Stylist or just selecting a
style from the drop-down list) it completely ignores the 'Numbering Style'
defined on the 'Numbering' tab of the style. The selected text just keeps
whatever bulleting/numbering it has, or keeps none if none.

Worked fine in OOo 1.1.4 (and works in Word).

To reproduce:
1. Open a new document. Open Stylist.
2. Right-click on 'Text Body' and select 'Modify...'
3. Go to Numbering tab and set Numbering Style to List 1.
4. Type 'Hello' in the document.
5. Apply the Text Body style to the text with either the drop down list on the
toolbar, or by double-clicking Text Body in the Stylist. The text now has the
Text Body style, but the List 1 bullet style has not been applied, even though
that is what is defined for Text Body.

This works (or rather doesn't work) for any style and numbering style.
