reassigned *** Issue 22038 has been marked as a duplicate of this issue. *** *** Issue 35236 has been marked as a duplicate of this issue. *** *** Issue 65091 has been marked as a duplicate of this issue. *** is there any work on this? thanks- please look at this promising approach http://www.openoffice.org/servlets/ReadMsg?list=releases&msgNo=9573 http://devel.prooo-box.org/ooo_patches/index.html seems were near deltas, no ? Is there something lacking on our auto-update feature that justifies this issue remaining open? Yes, the updates should be incremental and be downloaded and installed automatically. I received the following because of an error report: Thank you for sending the error report generated by the OpenOffice.org error report tool. Your error report has been received and will be evaluated. The ID of the error report is r93csg. The document type you reported to be using was: OpenOffice Writer The description of your report was: Downloading updates The problem was not an OpenOffice problem. I updated my computer by downloading Microsoft Live. That download screwed up Word 2000 and prevented my updating OpenOffice, which makes me angry. When I uninstalled Windows Live and reloaded Word 2000 and was able to download and install OpenOffice 3.0. The problem was Microsoft and not Sun Microsystems. Thanks, Michael A Doyle michaeladoyle@charter.net This issue is fixed. Incremental updates is a different problem. closed as fixed Issue 65091 is marked as a duplicate of this one, so either this issue has to be reopened, or issue 65091 has to be reopened, marked as blocking this issue AND this issue has to be reopened. Sorry, I mean't "so either *that* issue has to be reopened". |
