Description evoci 2006-08-17 10:20:42 UTC
The "Minimum space numbering <-> text" value assigned in Tools/Outline Numbering, Position tab, is not retained after saving-reopening the file

The problem is, that the value will not be applied, if you do not leave the "minimum spacing..." field e.g. by using "Tab" key or clicking into another field before closing the dialog with OK or Enter key. See issue 21553. *** This issue has been marked as a duplicate of 21553 ***

Spacing is applied while working on the document. If I close and reopen, it is lost. This does not happen on a newly created document, but does on the attached one.

You have to tell me that you save in MS Word .doc format! That's VERY important.

MRU->OD: this is one for our "compatibility" collection. Here both concepts hit each other. Word's follow character and Writer's absolute value for setting a spacing following a number.
