Description dubiel 2003-10-22 12:24:08 UTC
Pressed F11. RightClick on style, then Modify.
Changed value and pressed Enter. Dialog closed
and no changes!

If I do the same, but press Okey with mouse
changes take effect. Probably changes take
effect if edited field looses focus.

Hi,

could not reproduce.

If the style you've altered is not ussed in the visible area of the
sheet, it seems that nothing happens. If it's used you will see the
changes reflected on the sheet. To show you, select default on the
cell style tab of the stylist and choose modify from the context menu.
Choose a backgroundcolor and perform your steps. In both cases all
cell backgrounds change the color.

To make it clear, the stylist is used to asign cell / page styles that
will be different to cells / sheets. So you have maybe 5 cellstyles
and some page styles and can assign a different cell sytle to each cell.

Frank

PS. Checked on four systems.

Ok -- try it with TextDocument. Make new text document. Write several
lines. Aply Numbering1 style to them. Choose Numbering1->Modify.
Click to change SpacingToText. Enter any number and just after last
digit hit Enter. Nothing changes.

When you hit Tab and then Enter -- works ok. If you click Ok, it
works okey too.

ES->OS: as described in the last description. Only the spin conrols
of the Position tab page in the Numbering/Bullets dialog seem to show
this defect... odd!

I think P5 ist too low Priority!
Comment 10 michael.ruess 2006-01-31 08:10:24 UTC
I agree that P5 is too low here for a quite obvious UI bug.
