Description ccheney 2009-03-21 03:44:35 UTC
When using a special character from the OpenSymbol font that looks like an
exclamation mark the character changes into a different character which looks
like it is Chinese. It shows up this way both in the body and footnote area. It
works fine on OOo 3.0.1 on Windows. I have verified this issue happens on
official OOo 3.0.1 on Linux.

This can also be confirmed on Windows. Open Insert.Footnote dialog, click on
"special character" button and select char U+E45E -> a different character will
be displayed in the document.

MRU->MBA: please reassign to a developer who now is responsible for the
"formatting" stuff formerly hosted by FME. Thanks!
