If the cursor is placed within notes, the font color button is locked.

But applying font colors is possible via Format/Character. So this is a bug.

@mod: Something for you.

Norbert2 is right; as long as we can access functionality within the menu, the
corresponding toolbar buttons should be made available, too. Or is there any
technical limitation - I don't remember...

Reset assigne to the default "issues@openoffice.apache.org".

Confirmed on Windows with version 4.1.12

The "Font Color" icon on the Sidebar (as of version 4.0.0) is locked too.
