Description oliverd 2009-04-09 10:01:37 UTC
Hi,

i'm using prsenter to show .pps slides on my laptop. During the presentation i
need to switch to another application and change my resolution for
demonstrations purposes.

The following workflow will crash the presenter
Open a .pps file
Enter the fullsreen mode (F5)
Switch to another application (using Alt-Tab)
Change the resolution of your windows

-> Openoffice/Presenter crashs

Could somebody look at it?

Thanks
Oliver

Just tested it with a presentation created in presenter. This works fine, so it
seems to be an issue with .pps files.

I also find out that you did not need to change the application, the change of
the resolution is enough. The presentations crashs after changing the resolution
and clicking on the presentation

Have you been asked to send a crash report, did you do so and have you already
received an id? Thanks in advance.

@cl: I've had (seldom) problems like this caused by LostDevice events happening
on the DX device, the attached patch much improved that.

thanks, I will add the patch and hope that this solves the problem. Note to
self, make sure this loop is not endless...
