[IT] Wrong function names in Calc 3.1-RC1 Italian

Some generic-purpose functions in Calc 3.1-RC1 Italian have changed names with respect to OOo 3.0.1. This is due to a localization error. The affected functions are, in the Italian version: - RIGA (to be restored to RIF.RIGA) - COLONNA (to be restored to RIF.COLONNA) - N (to be restored to NUM) - TASSO.INT (to be restored to TASSO; moreover, it is duplicate now) - CORREZIONE (to be restored to SCARTO) An SDF file containing the corrections will soon be attached to this issue. This is the EN > IT functions name correspondence in OOO310_m9: ROW > RIGA COLUMN > COLONNA N > N RATE > TASSO.INT OFFSET > CORREZIONE This is what should be: ROW > RIF.RIGA COLUMN > RIF.COLONNA N > NUM RATE > TASSO OFFSET > SCARTO Can you please provide me the .sdf file(s) containing the wrong translations? I think that fix them is a matter of hours, if not minutes.

Can you agree with me that the named words only inside file source\core\resource\core_resource.src project formula occur? If not the area is wide, means many projects and strings involved. Cheers Frank
Of course that file contain the most visible strings. Fixing it would mean to do the most of the job. However I checked and it seems even very few strings in helpcontent are affected. IMHO fixing the file you mention would be enough, we will then check and fix the remaining strings into pootle, so the next release (3.1.1? 3.2?) will be all OK. I miss all the work involved for this, but isn't just possible to extract the strings with a "grep-like" process? False positives will be just ignored by us while editing the file.
Paolo, please proceed fixing the calc functions. You can go ahead and fix the strings in Pootle. Once done, please reassign this issue to blueice. Aijin will provide Frank with a diff sdf file containing the latest changes. Frank, Paolo, if any concerns or comments please do let me know. Thx!
Done. Only 2 files were affected: [ui] formula/source/core/resource.po [hc] scalc/01.po In Pootle hierarchy.

This may be due to the circumstance that resources for the function names were moved to the new 'formula' module and thus resulted in a different path that somehow is mangled with the IDs in the ominous translation database from which *.sdf files are created. Moving resource files may break that. Actually the old sc/source/core/src/compiler.src became formula/source/core/resource/core_resource.src and compiler.src now has different content. Ivo, can you clarify? All other languages may be affected as well.
italian strings merged , all other missing strings copied from ooo300 fixed on ooo310 master
Hi, I've been sort of occupied and not correct in following this issue or submitting one for the Dutch string probs (see this thread http://l10n.openoffice.org/servlets/BrowseList?list=dev&by=thread&from=2217892 ) Sorry for that. But is with fixing this issue the problem for Dutch (and all other languages) fixed as well? Thanks - Cor
