Your site used to provide the option to download OO w/ or w/o having Java 
installed.Although u mention "if u have java, u do not need to install 
it",there is no link that I can find to just download OO without the java 
installation integrated into the download. I already have the latest Java 
platform, and the last OO installation with Java caused a problem!

Please simply as before!.

As a workaround, remember that, even if you download the bundled package, if you
can avoid installing Java/JRE by choosing to perform a custom ("advanced")
installation and then deselecting Java/JRE in the optional components list. At
the end, you will get exactly the same result as if you installed the "without
Java" package.

Otherwise, just use http://download.openoffice.org/other.html and uncheck
"Include Java/JRE".

Java (or better the JRE) is no longer included in any builds of Apache OpenOffice.
