Description lorenzoneri 2002-12-16 13:59:54 UTC
(I use Windows XP Pro in the client and Linux Red Hat 7.3 in the server ,
release of OpenOffice : 1.0.1) . Every time that I open a document that does
not reside physically in hard disk of my computer but in folder of the server ,
the document appears me totaly white . If I make a copy of the file on my
desktop and re-open the same file all works ok . My sensation is that if you
try to open a link , openoffice falls in error ....

Thank you for your attention !
Lorenzo

Reassigning because of wrong component choice.
Comment 2 scarr 2003-03-21 04:08:00 UTC
Assigning to Framework. Please change if this is not the correct comp.

Lars, would you please examine this in closer detail.

Hi, from your description I can not see where anything such as a link
is involved in making this defect appear. Can you please give some
more details on the fileserver used? (Samba? Version? Special
configuration?)
Might this be a symbolic link on a mounted samb volume?
Please verify whether your problem does still occur with the latest
builds (1.0.2 or 1.1 beta)
Comment 5 lo 2003-05-09 13:25:40 UTC
This seems to be some problem with the fileserver. I have not been
able to reproduce this with a samba server here. Since there is no
further information there is nothing more I can do.
If there should further information we can still reopen this issue...
