Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 101321
Changing colors in EMFs with Eyedropper screws characters upon change of OS (Linux<->Windows)
Last modified: 2017-05-20 11:11:33 UTC
Insert an EMF graphic (enhanced metafile) into a presentation in Linux Change any color of that graphic with the eyedropper tool Save the presentation Open it in Impress in Microsoft Windows --> Any character used in the EMF will be extremely stretched (text that once was vertical is horizontal too) If you do the reverse (insert EMF in Impress in Windows, change color, save, open in Impress in Linux), the characters will be compressed. This is very annoying and hinders uncomplicated exchange of OO documents between Linux and Windows. It takes a lot of work because the graphics have to be inserted and eyedropped anew upon changing the OS.
Created attachment 61776 [details] EMF eyedropped in Linux stretched in Windows
Created attachment 61777 [details] EMF eyedropped in Windows compressed in Linux
Created attachment 61778 [details] Original Graphic, which remains OK upon exchange when not eyedropped
When the color of the EMF graphic is not changed, the exchange between OS does not alter the text/characters.
Please attach the original EMF for reproducing. Thanks.
