Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 101736
Offer different way of assigning page styles than using paragraph format
Last modified: 2013-02-07 22:37:22 UTC
In FrstPg.odt, parag 'aaa' has, under Format>TextFlow, no pageBreak. change pageStyle to FirstPage, and a pageBreak is automatically inserted, even though the parag style (Numbering3) does not specify any; remove it, and pageStyle returns automatically to Default. Apparently, it's impossible to have a FirstPage without an initial pageBreak. Why? It does not affect the page display (since it's the 1st page) but, if one copies the parag elsewhere, the pageBreak is copied too --unexpected.
Created attachment 62151 [details] file without page break
That is the way, Writer handles a change of a page style. It is not stored at pages, it is stored in paragraph format. This is related to issue 17203. Reassigned to requirements.
