Description mhatheoo 2009-05-14 20:21:31 UTC
supposed you rename a sheet with numbers only - like an article-number with
12345 -and

-- you navigate to that sheet from Navigator: all functions well

-- you set a "Jump-to" URL to that sheet somewhere in another sheet
it will not work - the number will be treater as a row-number within the actual
sheet, and you will jump there

Please describe how do you "set a Jump-to URL" and please a spreadsheet with one
working version and one not working version.

I can name a cell in such a table and insert a hyperlink to that named cell via
Insert > Hyperlink > Target in Document.

Creste hyperlink:
Insert - hyperlink - Document - Target in document
Sheets - 11212 - Apply

After click on hyperlink it refers to sheet cell number 11212, no to sheet with
name 11212.

The link works, if you set the reference '12345'.a1 manually.

The automatic should produce complete references and should set the necessary
apostrophes, if you select a sheet in the "Target in Document"-dialog.

it is exactly as RAAL described it - it should work, but it does not.
may be you can rename the the sheet-labels to text, which is not really an
option in here,
but not with a leading " ' " in the label - that is not allowed,
and not with bracketing the label in the jump-start-url with '
 - that does not not work either.
