Since files can be attached to a PDF, this feature should also be included.

This will be specially useful for Linux users who apparently are having a hard
time to get a free GUI application to do the same.

May I suggest to make it possible to attach any file to an openoffice document?

Suggested behaviour:
In the Text there should only be a placeholder - an icon or similar. Clicking on
this placeholder should open the file with the appropriate application, as if
clicked on it in the filemanager.

Advantages: 
- pdfs can contain files, this feature would allow it to mirror this behavior
- exporting to pdf would allow to have the files attached to the openoffice
document to be attached to the pdf as well
- this would enable us to i.e. save database files in the companion description,
save source code with the how-to file...
