Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 102422
WW8: Unexpected tab in headings after export
Last modified: 2017-05-20 11:15:21 UTC
1) Open a new document 2) Write a few lines 3) Assign heading 1, 2 and 3 to some lines. 4) Save the document in .doc format Once we open this .DOC file with Ms Word we can see that each line with the style Heading 1, 2, etc. has an unexpected indentation. Every line gets a tabulation added by Word. The same file opened with OpenOffice does not have this problem. This bug is, probably, related with issues 90738 and 90871.
Created attachment 62694 [details] correct appearance
Created attachment 62695 [details] wrong (on ms Word)
Created attachment 62696 [details] document with the error
MRU->OD: Maybe this is related to issue 100497 - an obsolete tab of 0,75 cm is added to the unnumbered heading paragraphs when exporting to WW8 format. This is only visible when opening the exported doc in MS Word.
Might be a duplicate of 102490 ?

Even if indentation is removed from the headings styles (while still in OOo 3.1), the styles GAIN some indentation ONSCREEN in MS Word, but you can't change that because Paragraph properties in MS Word show no indentation. I suggest there is something wrong in "reporting" the indentation to MS Word
setting keyword "numbering"
