Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 102824
Endnotes and footnotes in presentations
Last modified: 2013-02-07 22:43:11 UTC
In many scientific settings, it is customary to reference certain things as soon as they come up, and to have an overall list of cited works for your presentation. Impress should be able to handle footnotes (displayed at the bottom of the slides) and endnotes (dedicated slide). For example, I might want to cite C. Amsler et al. (2008). "Review of Particle Physics", Physics Letters B 170:1 on the 5th slide, and C. Godbout, B.J. Siwick (2009). "Ultrafast Diffraction: Dynamics Imaging of Molecules and Materials", Physics in Canada 65(1):75 on the 9th.
If I understand you correct this is more an enhancement than a defect, right? Otherwise please attach a document for reproducing the problem and a step by step description. Thanks.
Ah, I thought I selected enhancement. My bad.
I've now place this issue in enhancements. Perhaps it should be in features.
