ok. first step is to setup the tunnel:

ssh -2 -g -x -o "Compression yes" -o "CompressionLevel 3" 
tunnel@openoffice.org -L 2401:localhost:2402

(ip adress for openoffice.org is 64.208.42.22)

then you use the CVSROOT (variable or -d 
switch) :pserver:dschulten@localhost:/cvs

and the you can use your favorite cvs client as usual

I'll try when I have changes for the Interbase pages

changing QA contact from bugs@ to issues@
