Can reproduce it in DEV300m54 on Ubuntu and WinXP

How to reproduce it
1 Create a OOo doc, like Writer
2 Insert - Hyperlink - Internet - FTP, input "ftp://172.16.20.64" without double
quotes
  in Target box, let cursor stay in Target box, then ENTER

Result
OOo try to connect with ftp address, this action needs several minutes, then
hyperlink is inserted

Expectation
OOo don't try to connect with ftp address, just like Apply button doing.

Why should this issue block http://qa.openoffice.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=84282 ?

This is the ditributing task for version 2.3.1 on MacOSX
