WW8 - Chart inserted in PPT under Windows broken after re-opening the file in Impress
Last modified: 2013-02-07 22:37:21 UTC
Steps to reproduce: - create a new presentation in Impress - assign a layout with a chart placeholder to one slide - save as ppt (WinXP) - open the ppt in MS Office - insert a chart by double clicking the placeholder - save the ppt - open the file in Impress again and find the chart being painted incorrectly (screenshot attached)

Can you attach such a file in the state after the saving in PPT, please?

By the way: When starting a presentation (pressing F5) the chart displays just fine.
Hm. Your testfile looks good for me in OOo 310m19. Do you test on windows or something else? I will attach a screenshot of how it looks for me.

I tested the official RPMs from SUN under Linux. Maybe a graphics driver problem? Graphics Card on my system is a 01:00.0 VGA compatible controller: nVidia Corporation G72M [Quadro NVS 110M/GeForce Go 7300] (rev a1)
Hello simonaw, *, as I do not own a M$O, I am not able to confirm this issue ... ;) Just want to play a reminder here ... ;) Have you tested it with a newer version of OOo? And which M$O version did you use to save it as PPT? Have fun Thomas.
Hello Simon, *, after testing again, I can confirm this issue so far, as it looks like on your screenshot (http://www.openoffice.org/nonav/issues/showattachment.cgi/64403/broken-chart.png), but looks O.K., when I start the presentation ... :( I have tested it with the Germanophone version of OOO320m1616 on Debian SID AMD64, graphics card is NVidia GeForce 6150 SE with nvidia-glx 190.53.4. Which NVidia driver are you using? HTH Thomas.
Hello Simon, *, I have tested it again with the Germanophone version of OOO320m17 under Debian SID AMD64 and the problem still exists ... :( Can you confirm it on your system as well? Which architecture are you using (and which distribution)? HTH Thomas.
