Description amy2008 2009-09-03 04:32:58 UTC
How to reproduce it
1 Create an impress file, and enter some characters in a text box,
  like "This is a test"
2 Select "is" in sentence "This is a test", and insert hyperlink for "is"
3 Choose the whole sentence "This is a test"
4 Create a new Writer doc
5 Drag and drop the sentence from impress file to Writer file

Result
In Writer file, hyperlink is lost.

Expectation
In Writer file, hyperlink stays still.

Li Meiying

Presentation does not copy the hyperlink formatting to clipboard format. Please
reassign to Draw/Impress developer. Thanks.
Comment 3 wolframgarten 2009-10-08 12:28:24 UTC
Sorry, but copying the sentence from impress to spreadsheet delivers the
complete sentence with the hyperlink. So it does not seem to be the clipboard
from impress that is having a problem but the import in writer, doesn't it? Or
am I wrong?
Reassigned.

Reassigned.
Comment 5 michael.ruess 2009-10-08 13:32:13 UTC
MRU->WG: you are not fully right. The format has been added via a tag into RTF
which can only be interpreted by applications knowing the tag. Inserting the
clipboard format into MS Word (which is the reference for RTF) will also give no
hyperlink.
Impress does not write a hyperlink in RTF-conform way.

Ok, if you say so... ;-)
Reassigned.
