Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 104957
tool customise keyboard load/save doesn't work
Last modified: 2013-01-29 21:45:24 UTC
Install OO3.1.1 open oo (writer) tool customise keyboard change a shortcut save file with shortcuts close oo remove .openoffice.org open oo (writer) tool customise keyboard load file with shortcuts the formerly defined shortcut doesn't work see also issue 104826 (and 57027)
By the way - I thought to have understood, that OO saves now all acceleraters in one file. So why there is still checkboxes either OO or Writer in this menu?
Kevin Glinski 9/10/09 when you load the shortcuts file, does your modified shortcut show up as modified or the original? Tried to reproduce on Win7, but couldn't find the corresponding file in windows. I saved my settings, then changed a setting then loaded the file back. the settings that i saved and loaded worked fine.
I changed a shortcut, saved, changed again, loaded, first change didn't come back with the loading.

Do you want to save the shortcut inside the document? If so, please have a look at issue 98123.
No, not in the document (would also be nice, but not the point here). But in a file, which can be loaded in OO (also on another machine) again. (easier than to copy/move the xml-files somewhere hidden in the .oo-folder)
It is a saving problem. The saved file is empty. If you generate such a config-file with OOo2.4.3 and load it in DEV300m60, then the changed shortcuts are available. (I work on WinXP.)
Using a debug build I get the following error when clicking 'Save' on the WinXP- filepicker saving-dialog. Error: XMLBasedAcceleratorConfiguration::~XMLBasedAcceleratorConfiguration() Changes not flushed. Ignore it ... From File c:/odffogdbg/framework/source/accelerator/acceleratorconfiguration.cxx at Line 149
Still in Version 3.2 not working ... that is a really important feature for business ... hope for a fixing in next minor version. Thanks!
I have tested it in DEV300m77. There saving the configuration works again. Please try http://download.openoffice.org/next/
