Description jbf.faure 2009-09-20 15:48:12 UTC
As said in summary. It works for users@fr, discuss@fr or dev@fr but not for
qa-test@fr

I searched for "issues sur ces couleurs" with the site search and scope "fr
project only". Some results have been listed.
Could you help us to reproduce the problem?
Comment 2 jbf.faure 2009-09-21 16:31:15 UTC
The problem is with search engine dedicated to this mailing list :

Looks like the messages are not indexed, however we have a history where we ran
into many issues when we ran the indexer manually as OO has a large data set.

We are still discussing the options to proceed further, will keep you posted on
the proceedings.

Thanks,
Praveen

After discussing various options we finally concluded that the only way to fix
this is by running a full indexing on the site, but running the indexer is ruled
out as it will have a huge impact on the site's performance because of the huge
data-set that OO has.

However we can suggest a work around of using "http://markmail.org/" for
searching mails.

Praveen

Sorry I forgot to answer. Your workaround is ok for me. There is another mail
archive which maybe is more flexible from search point of view :
http://www.mail-archive.com/
I will inform qa-test@fr subscribers.
