Description Rainer Bielefeld 2009-10-19 18:31:14 UTC
It started some weeks ago that I saw a ne effect in my existing charts that I
use to show measurement data from a PLC:
All lines should show color as visible in the legend, but instead of that, all
lines in first chart "Datalogging RLT SVA Peine" in sheet "Diagramm1" are black.
Correct colors appear after double click into chart for edit mode.

A second strange effect:
I created the chart newly and wanted to have that second chart on the page with
the same settings as the first one. So I started to change the color of the
first line "EnergieBedarf" with coble click on chart, click on legend, click on
line. After that change, it will be shown in wrong grey color furthermore

A third strange effect:
When I coble click third chart for edit mode, several colors of the lines change.

The spreadsheets have been used since OOo 1.x and have been amended to my needs
(and the applications from where I get the data) during that time. Structure is
always the same:
3 sheets "DBw00x" to where I coly the original data,
3 sheets "Datenx" where the data will be shown with correct formatting
3 sheets "Auswertungx" where I sample the data for charts
3 sheets "Diagrammx" where I show the charts

PDF export and print also show lines in first chart in black

I will attach a sample file and additionally screenshots.

I will attach an other similar document "allworksfinewith241.ods".
with "2.4.1 Multilingual version German UI WIN XP: [680m17(Build9310)]" you can
double click chart on sheet "Diagramm1" and leave it again, nothing bad will happen.
Now try again with "Ooo 3.1.1 WIN XP DE-multilingual version German UI activated
[OOO310m19 (Build 9420)]" (or similar): after you left chart edit mode, all
lines will be black.

Comment 5 Rainer Bielefeld 2009-10-19 18:57:38 UTC
Same ugly behaviour with "Ooo-Dev 3.2.0 multilingual version German UI WIN XP:
[OOO320m2 (Build 9432)]"!
Comment 6 Rainer Bielefeld 2009-10-19 19:07:45 UTC
Seems to be a transparency problem, might be related to (or DUP of) Issue
105377, I will leave a comment there.
Comment 7 Rainer Bielefeld 2009-10-20 18:57:07 UTC
In between I doubt that this one is related to Issue 105377

@sibaweg:
May be you can check this for LINUX? It would be great if you could find a way
how to reproduce that problem with a new chart.
Comment 8 Rainer Bielefeld 2009-10-21 16:02:01 UTC
I was able to reproduce the problem with "sample.ods" and
"allworksfinewith241.ods" on an other PC and a Laptop, all WIN XP and OOo 3.1.1.

So -> NEW!
Comment 9 sibaweg 2009-10-23 07:34:51 UTC
Behaviour of sample.ods confirmed under Linux (SuSE 10.1,OOO310m21).

The first chart on "Diagramm1" appears in grey, double clicking on the chart
enables colors. At the same time, the line with the highest values on chart2
appears grey.

Double clicking on the second chart turn colors on the first one back to grey
again and enables all colors on the 2nd chart.

It sounds like an double to issue 105377. Iha, can you confirm that?
Comment 11 IngridvdM 2009-10-23 11:01:55 UTC
iha->pl This is another metafile rendering problem. Maybe it is fixed with issue
105377 already?
Comment 12 philipp.lohmann 2009-10-23 14:49:20 UTC
since that problem showed in PDF export, but this on the screen, what makes you
think it would be a duplicate ?
Comment 13 Armin Le Grand 2009-10-23 15:16:32 UTC
AW->PL: It could well be #i105377# since the error You (thanks again here) fixed
in MetaFile creation could also infuence deactivated chart OLE display; the
chart OLE's MetaFile is created by using the MetaFileRenderer. Please check
briefly if this is fixed by loading the sample. If not, please send back.
Comment 14 philipp.lohmann 2009-10-23 15:27:52 UTC
and back
Comment 15 Rainer Bielefeld 2009-10-24 13:29:56 UTC
Modify OS due to comments from sibaweg (Linux user)
Comment 16 Armin Le Grand 2009-10-27 16:51:03 UTC
AW: Checked again with PL; the MetaFile gets created after load, activate, then
deactivate. The colors stay after the deactivate. Save and reaload stay correct,
too. It is double to #i105377#. Setting to double.
