Open a new impress.
Hit F11 to open styles and formatting.
Click presentation styles.
Right click "background objects", modify.
Selecting numbering type, bullets, customize, graphics kills the Office.

found it, there is no SvxNumBulletItem in the "background objects" style (which
is not a problem in itself) and the method SvxBulletPickTabPage::Reset crashes
if there is none.

I fixed SvxBulletPickTabPage::Reset to get it from the documents pool if there
is none in the itemset.

Fixed in cws impress180 for OOo 3.2

oops, my fault. How could I oversee that the faulty code is not once in
numpages.cxx but 6 times :-/
