Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 1063
move/merge user_faq list archive to doc archive?
Last modified: 2003-12-06 14:52:32 UTC
Kat, Can you look into what would need to be done and how difficult it would be to take all the content currently in http://whiteboard.openoffice.org/whiteboard-user_faq/current/ and move/merge it to http://whiteboard.openoffice.org/whiteboard-doc/current/ what's happened is that the doc project has been created as a superset of the user_faq project, and we want to now shut down the user_faq list/project. But we don't want to loose all the valuable info in the mail archive...
Hi - will look into it. Kat
I have spoken with an engineer about this and he thinks it will not be difficult to accomlish, but would prefer to make these types of changes prior to the upgrade. I have created an internal issue for tracking implementation pcn4646 Thanks, Kat
Goolie, Can we move forward with this? Thank you Kat
Reassigning to Goolie for feedback.
I believe this has been done. Kat, would you let me know if otherwise? -louis
This is not done. The User_FAQ postings do not appear in the archive for Documentation here: http://whiteboard.openoffice.org/whiteboard-doc/ Thanks, Michelle
correct, Michelle. Kat has created an internal issue (CN) to address this problem, and I've authorized it. It should be done posthaste. Louis kat, I'm reassigning this to you for safekeeping. -loui
accepting issue
changing QA contact from bugs@ to issues@
Reassigning all of kat's open issues to support so that I can go through them.
I need to check on the status of this.
this is ancient. But, you know, I don't know if it has been done. be that as it may, the user_faq list has been obsolete for many, many months. there are 204 messages... and looking at the doc list, I don't see any big lump from June, which is when the other list (user-faq) expired. So... I doubt it has been resolved. I move to either resolve it or just keep it as an archive. The list is not used. louis
Closing this issue. Please re-open if there is still an active issue which needs to be resolved.
As agreed by Louis I will close these resolved fixed support-owned issues now. If you have trouble with that, please re-open the issue.
