Description alaratinivosur 2009-10-26 20:05:54 UTC
1) Make a native table in impress. (first table)
2) Make a copy of the whole slide or of only the table. (second table)
3) Borders in the first table can be edited without any problems. After setting
border style for the second table using context menu, changes wouldn't be shown.
The are shown only after moving the second table.
Comment 1 Rainer Bielefeld 2009-10-27 06:09:03 UTC
Not reproducible with "Ooo 3.1.1 WIN XP DE-multilingual version German UI
activated [OOO310m19 (Build 9420)]"!

@alaratinivosur:

Before you file further issues or post again here, please read our guidelines on
<http://qa.openoffice.org/issue_handling/pre_submission.html> and
<http://www.openoffice.org/bugs/bug_writing_guidelines.html>, then
contribute a clear step by step instruction containing all observations (error
messages ...), _every_key_press_and_every_mouse_click_ how to reproduce the
problem, and explain why you believe that your results are unexpected.
That means (for example):
do not write something like „I am not able to ...“, but
„6. left mouse click on …
     expected: …, color of … changes, …
actual: no …., color remains white, no …

Please always specify OS and Platform you used for your tests!

I confirm with OOO320m1 and OOODEV300m62 on Linux OpenSUSE 11.0.

Repro:
1. Open file tablesborders.odp
2. Copy Slide 1 -> Slide 2.
3. Select the table in Slide 2.
4. Select all cells in table (with mouse).
5. Click the Borders icon on the Table toolbar.
6. Click one of the predefined border styles.

Expected behavior: changed border styles for all selected cells .
Actual behavior: no change. The changes will be visible only after moving the
table or re-open file.

Probably, another cases of the same buggy behavior:
1) Open file tablesborders.odp
2) Select the table in Slide 1.
3) Select all cells in table (with mouse).
4) Click the Borders icon on the Table toolbar.
5) Click one of the predefined border styles.
6) Press Ctrl-Z (undo)

Expected behavior: border style change should be undone when pressing Ctrl-Z.
Actual behavior: undo works, but original borders style will be visible only
after moving the table or re-open file. (OOO300m15, OOO310m11).
Comment 5 Rainer Bielefeld 2009-10-27 07:31:36 UTC
Yes, with all cells selected I also see the reported problem with "Ooo 3.1.1
WIN XP DE-multilingual version German UI activated [OOO310m19 (Build 9420)]"!

Problem also appears if table will be pasted on same slide.

Problem is also visible after copy / paste of a table in DRAW.
Comment 6 wolframgarten 2009-10-27 09:24:22 UTC
