I just acquired a demo unit of the Tablet PC.  I installed Mozilla, the latest
JRE from Sun (Java 2 Runtime Environment, SE v1.4.1_01), and OpenOffice.org
1.0.1.  I can enter text using all modes of input (keyboard, writing pad and
speech).  I can save files by clicking on the disk icon and print by clicking on
the printer icon.      However, I cannot access anything on the menu bar.  It
does not matter what input device I use, none work. 

I am sorry, but I probably won't have this demo unit much longer.  Consequently,
I probably will not be able to assist you further.  However, I did want you to
know that someone had tried OpenOffice.org on a Tablet PC and that I had
experienced this problem.

perhaps you now have a Tablet PC again?

With OpenOffice 2.2.1, i have no problem using the pen stylus to access the 
File, Edit, View, Insert ... menus.  

However, #10738 is still a major issue for me to recommend OpenOffice to those 
using TabletPCs.
