Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 10651
Help not working
Last modified: 2003-06-16 17:52:37 UTC
I am new to Linux so please excuse me if the question is a Basic one. I searched the previous issues but did not find it... I just installed OpenOffice 1.0.1 and was looking for some help, when I click on HELP->Contents, I get the following message: Unfortunately the Help page you selected was not found. The following data could be helpful in locating the error: Help ID: start Help Mod: simpress Help Org: This error message can result from the following: The corresponding Help module is not installed. During installation you can choose which Help modules to install (e.g. OpenOffice.org-help-en). If you did not install all the Help modules or applications, the Help system may not be able to access the required file. Of course I have the help files (or I seem to) in my OpenOffice/program/help folder. What did I miss?
Moving to Framework. This appears to be a problem with the code.
Frank, please let somebody check that on 1.02. I target it to 1.1 beta2, guess it doesn't occur anyway.
Checked that on a 1.02 Linux RH8 works for me fbeniamine: Can you check in 1.02?
Yep, I'll do it ASAP, I hope this week end (currently busy on a project).
It is indeed OK now, Thanks !
As I said on 30/03/30 it is fixed.
Fixed and Closed...
