We have Writer document with multiple Calc tables, placed there as OLE objects
in order to achieve superior functionality (Writer tables won't do).

However, we cannot link between tables. We are unable to find out any way,
(needless to say, intuitive way too) how to do it.

Since the linking is available between several files and also between lists of a
single file, should be available for multiple tables in single document,
shouldn't they?

In order to avoid unnecessarry issue report, I asked on local mailinglist,
however nobody has any idea, whether it is possible or not.

You have to insert the Calc tables from .ods files and link them into Writer
document (Insert.Object.OLE an select "Link" there).

Closed, this can be solved via Linked-to-file OLE objects.

So it is not possible to have embedded OLE Calc tables in Writer and link the
cells between them? I must link the cells in separate spreadsheet files while
outside Writer, and only link them externally to the Writer document?

Then, this issue can be marked as "enhancement"
