Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 107565
Strikethrough formatting extends beyond selected range
Last modified: 2017-05-20 11:17:56 UTC
Create some text in a document and separate any two words with an em space (Chr(8195)) Select text on both sides of the em space From the format menu, select Character... Select the Font Effects tab Select any strikethrough formatting style (e.g., single, double, etc) and click OK (it does it for all of them) A visible strikethrough is extended up to three characters past what you selected to be stricken-through, but if you select that text and inspect it via the Character dialog, it does not carry the attribute. This is a re-opening of issue 10781.

Still cannot reproduce (in 3.1.1) The meta.xml claims you are using 3.1.1 -> setting version. Tested on Windows Vista. The "is i" is correct stricken. Not more, not less. Can you please add a screenshot? @HDU: any idea? Something similar to what we fixed on the MAC in issue 104121? For the records: - the em space is decimal 8195, hex 2003 - the original report was issue 107181

If the problem happened on OOoAqua I'd be 100% sure that this is a duplicate of issue 104121. @stevelang: please confirm that you see this problem on Windows
Yes this is occurring in OO 3.1.1 running in Windows XP.
Now I can reproduce on 1 Windows **XP** machine but not on an other one. We will have to track what the difference is. - This is not related to the font used because on the machine where I can reproduce, many other fonts show this problem. - This is definitively not related to the problem of issue 104121 -> ame problem in the CWS vcl106 on this machine. @HDU: once again: any idea?
