Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 108482
Wrong information in hyperlinks when exported as PDF with notes
Last modified: 2014-05-29 05:01:57 UTC
Hallo, When I'm using Impress to export a document containing hyperlinks as PDF with notes, the hyperlinks are not linking to the original destination. They are linking to the PDF file itself (even when you copy it to somewhere else). This behaviour was confirmed by another user on the German OOo mailing list for OOo 3.2 RC3 running on Windows 7. Thanks, Simon
I can confirm this issue with OOo 3.2.0-rc3-x64. If I set the mark for exporting the notes the target of the hyperlink is wrong. If this mark is not set, the target of the hyperlink is correct.
I forgot to write some information about my system: openSUSE 11.1-x64
Please attach a simple step by step description. Do you mean "Export comments" for the OOO320_m10 version ("export notes" in version OOO310_m19). Do you use external links (URLs) or links to documents?
@wg: insert a hyperlink into a slide (i.e. to http://de.openoffice.org) and then export this slide to pdf. If you mark on the tab "general" (in German "Allgemein") export notes ("Notizen exportieren") the hyperlink is broken (it opens on Linux your home folder in the default file browser (and not de.openoffice.org in the default browser). If you don't mark export notes, every thing works as expected.
Reproducible. Reassigned.
I was not able to reproduce this using AOO 4.1 on Fedora Linux. Steps I followed: 1) File > New > Presentation ... Create (all defaults) 2) Insert > Hyperlink Select type: Internet, Target: www.openoffice.org Click Apply then Close The link appears as a text box containing http://www.openoffice.org 3) File > Export as PDF > General > Export notes pages: ON Click Export, choose file; OK Exported pdf contains working link (on the slide page; the link on the notes page is not active)
> Exported pdf contains working link (on the slide page; the link on the notes > page is not active) +1 For me no bug. AOO 4.1, Ubuntu 14.04
