Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 108692
Bullet formating not following indented para styles when list attribute applied before style
Last modified: 2017-05-20 11:19:47 UTC
Bulleted entries do not appear to be completely part of the style system. Font details work but indentation does not. Also can not set bullet type as part of a style at all. Bullets should really be treated just like numbered list with a separate tab in the styles dialog.
Created attachment 67426 [details] Attached is example of the problem.
Currently I can offer you at least a workaround: first apply the style to a paragraph and then make it a bulleted paragraph. MRU->OD: the behavior is quite inconsistent - applying a para style having an indent to a bulleted paragraph will give a different result than doing vice versa (making it a list AFTER applying indented para style). I mean, doing this without a list attribute will also overwrite a hard indent attribute of a paragraph style.
