Description cno 2010-01-28 12:14:53 UTC
List entries in Word completion behaves wrong with keyboard (focus, selecting)

a. I cannot find a way to get the focus in the list with entries with the key board
b. If I click on one word, arrow down does not have any effect.
c. If I click on one word, and click on another word, both are selected.

I think this is one issue ;-)

I have experienced c some/long time ago, but also know it had disappeared
(repaired). (Maybe that was on Windows only?)

I see this problem now in OOo320m10 and in 3.1.1
Dutch on Ubuntu.

BTW: when the list has the focus, could hitting a letter lead to the position of
a word starting with that letter?
(I know this has been discussed for the Stylist and will be addressed there.)
No objections to open a new issue if needed.

In the Autocompletion dialog it is not possible to put the focus on the
"Entries" list. It is even not possible to navigate with cursor keys in it even
when putting the focus via mouse into it.

HI mru,
I've tested on older XP 2.3.1:
the selection process with mouse was bad there as well
(every click works as if Ctrl is pressed!)

But the arrow keys did work

Also: putting focus on the list also worked: hit tab with the focus on MaxItems
and the focus is in the list.
