Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 109574
WW8: hatching in drawing object exported as bitmap
Last modified: 2013-08-07 14:38:26 UTC
When reopening a graph edited in Writer the appearance changes from hashed to bitmap.
The description is not really significant, please attach a sample document showing the problem.
I have pasted a graph from spreadsheet as a GDI metafile in the text document creator. I wanted to edit the graph by creating a 'hashed' part so I added in a drawing object. I changed the drawing object properties to be hashed (using the toolbar that appears and the drop down boxes in the centre where you can choose colour and stuff) and the correct colour and it looked great. But when I opened the document this afternoon the characteristics of the pasted over drawing object were changed. I will attach 2 documents - 1 pdf of it looking great and the original document which I will save with the picture looking correct and when you open it you will see the issue. The document is being saved as a .doc as this is who I need to send it on. Thanks for your help.
Created attachment 68010 [details] The pdf all looking good
Created attachment 68011 [details] The document which looks fine before saving but on reopening becomes corrupted
