Description pathi 2010-02-25 16:34:37 UTC
Using the form navigation pane in a calc sheet, up to OO 3.0 I was able to
select the next/previous record from a list of addresses in a database. Since
OO3.1 this was broken. Today I took some time to try to track it down and
stumbled over some funny behavior.
With OO 3.0 (OO300m9) I can select a record using:
 - clicking the arrows for first/previous/next/last record in the form
navigation pane
 - clicking a line using the database as source display of the form navigation pane
 - clicking a line in the corresponding query when opened the datasources view
(F4) I would expect at least for the buttons to still work.

With OO3.2 only one option is available, the arrow buttons do not work at all
neither the 'F4' view can be used.

Screenshots and original files available on request.

Currently only checked with OOo3.2 w/ Ubuntu - Creating a new spredsheet and
adding forms I can not reproduce the problem. Using a couple of different data
source types.

@pathi Which type of address book connection are you using please?
Comment 3 pathi 2010-02-28 17:37:13 UTC
The database is registered via options -> OO.base -> databases. I'm using the
alias name to access it.
The data resides on a mapped network drive.

Thanks - I still would like to know the type of data souce.
If you open the Base file itself, the one that pointed to by the Registration
entry, on the main window if you look to the lower left hand corner it will tell
the type connection being used. Could say LDAP Address Book or Mozilla ... for
instance.

Would you let me know that is? Thanks
