Hi,

I have an xls file containing 32 sheets, each sheet contains about 150 external
links to another xls file.
(ex: file:///path/name.xls'#$SheetX.$A$1)

Until OOo 3.0.1, when I updated the external links, the process was done in a
few seconds.

As from 3.1 (3.1.1 and 3.2), when I click on update external links,
the system is using 100% CPU, the RAM comsumption is increasing, OOo is hanging.
After 1mn, the system is back to normal, and OOo is usable again.

I can reproduce it, on linux, winxp, vista, win7 using an OOo newer than 3.0.1

I can attach the file, if necessary.

@ericsson: Yes, please attach both, the referring and the referred file.

@kohei: Sounds pretty much like another external references problem..

I attached the files (one is in zip format, it was big).
1.imprimer.xls file have also external links to other xls files [I know, it's a
bit messy, but that's my wife design ;-) ], I don't think you need them, but you
can always ask for them if necessary...

Yes, this is basically a duplicate of Issue 108064, which I have already fixed
in the koheiextref01 cws for the 3.3 target.

But rather than closing this as a duplicate, I'll add this to the cws for extra
verification since test documents are attached here.  I have just verified that
the koheiextref01 build doesn't hang when updating 1.Imprimer.xls.

Just to be sure,
7.Evaluations.xls file is hanging when I update, NOT 1.Imprimer.xls.

Yes.  Updating 1.Imprimer.xls from 7.Evaluations.xls is what I meant.

Verified on SLED 11 sp1 and Windows xp sp3.
