Description Unknown 2003-01-29 13:34:29 UTC
I would like to know how to include pictures into a document,
independently of their location. I mean if I delete the pictures from
the hard drive, I want them to stay in the document.
I know how to make the inclusion in Java but not the property to set to
do this?

Sounds like a question about the api, changing component to api...
Comment 2 ooo 2003-01-30 11:38:18 UTC
It is not a documentation issue, it is a definition, and then an
implementation issue. The feature is simply neither defined nor
implemented. Actually, there has to be a separate definition for
TextDocument (TextGraphicObject) and Spreadsheet/DrawingDocuments
(GraphicObjectShape), thus two separate implementations.

I will define the new properties, but the implementation has to be
done in the two implementation projects.

not in 6.1 anymore, is an enhancement (new feature)
Comment 4 kay.ramme 2003-04-24 13:57:50 UTC
Dieter, could you please take care and throw it in at the approprate
time :-)?
Comment 5 leechenhwa 2003-04-29 07:06:30 UTC
This feature is important for portable uses.
Comment 6 Dieter.Loeschky 2003-06-05 11:41:23 UTC
DL->AW: Would you please take care that this will be implemented in
all apps?
Comment 7 Armin Le Grand 2003-06-10 13:53:07 UTC
Seems as if the problem is that using API a graphic can only be set as
a link, but will not be embedded. This again seems to go back to not
having a component for importing pictures. And this again seems to
have to do with time reasons.
For 6.y this is a valid and necessary expansion, i will need some time
to query necessary informtion for this task.
Comment 8 Armin Le Grand 2003-07-01 09:18:41 UTC
AW: I will need to collect some knowledge about this issue.
Comment 9 Armin Le Grand 2004-02-06 11:47:35 UTC
AW->KA: Please use the planned GraphicExporter to adapt thi sone.
Comment 10 ooo 2004-04-20 09:56:06 UTC
KA: changed priority, since this task doesn't fit in P2 category (new Priority P4)

oooforum.org , see http://www.oooforum.org/forum/viewtopic.phtml?t=14979 .
