OpenOffice freezes when I:
select text in russian language, then select in menu Format->Case/Characters->Upper case (all ok)
then i press ctrl+s to save document. 
progress bar filed to 40% and openoffice freezes.
processor used by openoffice in 100%.

Trdmitry, how did you get the idea that this is an API related ìssue?
 It is definitely not an API related issue.  More importand whould
have been the information wheter it happens in Writer, Calc or Draw. 
Without this information, this bugreport cannot be assigned.  Sorry.
