Description tinne 2010-07-02 20:25:49 UTC
When running Help/Search for updates... in OO-Writer 3.2.1, it will try to
download version 3.2.0 (!) to my desktop.

Also, though run from the no-jre-version, it tries to download the jre-version. I
really have enough jres on my harddisk anyway.

(The version set above is nonsense, no current version was made available in the
list.)

Can't confirm this with 3.2.1 DE on OS X, but Cc'ing ja and mla, who are
responsible for the product update service. Can you check?

CC'ing MD

Fixed: The update notification has been enabled just yesterday.

Please try again and come back here if it still fails.

NB; This is not a de-issue

Tried again, and still fails.

That is, without changing my installation, ran OpenOffice Writer. Ah, success,
it does not automatically start the download. Run Help/Search for updates again.
Sorry, there goes the OOo_3.2.0_Win32Intel_install_wJRE_de.exe download again.

I was quite sure it wasn't a de-issue either, but simply found no better place.
Feel free to move it where it belongs.

Changing component.
Comment 6 merschmann 2010-07-13 19:51:57 UTC
Sorry, was the wrong one
Comment 7 Martin Hollmichel 2010-07-14 08:38:26 UTC
reassign
Comment 8 Joost Andrae 2010-07-14 08:51:39 UTC
There is no link to OOo 3.2.0 within the Product Update Service for a Windows binary

-> of: please check
Comment 9 Olaf Felka 2010-07-14 09:01:37 UTC
I can't confirm that. Checking for updates in OOo 3.2.1 leads to an 'OOo is up
to date' message.
