Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 112941
Range fixed with $ in Vlookup
Last modified: 2014-01-15 13:42:24 UTC
Summary: The Vlookup range is not fixed with $ signs. This has unfortunately has to be done manually. Scenario: When selecting the range of the Vlookup, let's say A2 to B100, which gives a Vlookup range definition like 'file:///PathOfMyFile/File01.ods'#$Sheet1.A2:B100, Calc should automatically add the $ signs in the first and the last cell reference in order to allow the formula to be duplicated without incrementing the Vlookup range. This should give a Vlookup range like 'file:///PathOfMyFile/File01.ods'#$Sheet1.$A$2:$B$100

I tested a Vlookup function and confirmed that when copying this function to another cell the range is incremented. I used the same formula in Excel (replacing ; with ,) and it has the same functionality as OO.
