Steps to reproduce:

* Start OOo + open a new empty Writer document (or simply start Writer ;-)
* Click Extras -> Macros -> Record macro
* Type a couple of letters.

On my system (Debian squeeze, XFCE), this crashes OOo at once, every time.
Most times the crash occurs directly after pressing any (character?) key.
Pressing RETURN or BACKSPACE a couple of times doesn't crash it, but pressing
SPACE does.

In effect, it is impossible for me to record a macro.
