There are six pre-defined searches for OOo Templates : Business, Education,
Private, Highest Rated, Most Popular, and Most Recent

Please add a menu with links to searches for all documents of a given type. 
That way one can begin to browse all spreadsheets or all word processing
documents or all presentations.   

The might be room near the bottom of the page for a horizontal menu.

Take a look on the staging site: http://ooo-templates-test.osuosl.org
There is now: http://ooo-templates-test.osuosl.org/en/templates/applications
for evaluation. 
The site may become the productive at the end of 04/2011.
It might not be the best solution for now, but a start to talk about.
Let me know if there is something to make this more useable.
