Description batpul 2010-08-09 11:41:29 UTC
When I want to change the font for a piece of text the font menu only contains
fonts in alphabetical order A till K. That is most of my system fonts are not
listed in the font menu. Hence I cannot change text to the font I want. I admit
that I have added quite a few extra fonts to my Linux system. My
/usr/share/fonts/truetype/ directory has 362 files. When I open the font menu
with => select text => right mouse button => Font => then it shows a menu with
about the first 50 of them up to Cortoba. I can scroll down to get another 50 up
to Japan and then 3 more till KacstBook. I don't understand why this number is
so limited. I would like to see all of them, of course. I would also like to
suggest a more userfriendly menu. Scrolling down so many fonts is tedious. A
hierarchical menu system would be much quicker. I would also like to see the
menu open at the current font. Thanks!

Somewhere between issue 61775 and issue 111726
Else please: 1 problem = 1 issue. Issues with multiple problems are invalid.
