Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 113925
Manual row break ignored in PDF export and printout
Last modified: 2010-08-24 13:43:44 UTC
Inserting a row break fails to cause the print to continue on the next page. This seems to happen when the scale is set to print a wide spreadsheet set by width to one sheet (landscape in my case. I am uploading a test document illustrating this.
Created attachment 71136 [details] test doc with row breaks set that fail to function.
The row breaks are set in cell A42 on sheet 1, and also in cell A2 on sheet 2.
Effect reproducible with "TESTDOC.ods" and "Ooo-Dev 3.3.0 multilingual version English UI WIN XP: [OOo330m1 (Build 9514)]", but not with "Ooo 3.1.1 WIN XP DE[OOO310m19 (Build 9420)]"! Effect disappears when you change menu 'Format -> Page -> Sheet Scaling Mode' to "Reduce / Enlarge" in "TESTDOC.ods". So I believe this is related to or DUP of Issue 54993, but to be honest, I did not understand all details of Issue 54993, and so I can't decide whether this one is a DUP of a result of the fix or whatever else. So for first "Depends On" @joeconner: What OS did you test (I also believe ALL are affected)
.
If a value is given for "Height in pages", manual row breaks are ignored. This new behavior is intentional, see issue 54993 and issue 94698. To enable the manual breaks, clear the "Height in pages" value (empty the edit field in the dialog). "Width in pages" is then still evaluated.
