Description jrlanglois 2010-08-31 20:08:16 UTC
To whom this may concern,

When attempting to add a word to the dictionary by clicking the "Add" button
within the "Spelling: (language)" window, the "Add" button does nothing.

I have tried to bring up the window the two ways (F7 or right-click->Spelling
and Grammar) - and to no avail; the words simply will not be added...

With that, the "Add" button has the (at least assumed for this purpose)
drop-down arrow: which does nothing as well.

It's as if the functionality was removed in its entirety, and the "Add" button
was left there - forgotten.

Duplicate to issue 112179. Fix already integrated in OOO330_m2.

*** This issue has been marked as a duplicate of 112179 ***
Comment 3 thomas.lange 2010-09-01 09:25:28 UTC
TL->SBA: Can you check this one? It was fixed already for the context-menu.
Comment 4 michael.ruess 2010-09-01 10:01:01 UTC
Works perfectly with OOO330m6.
Comment 5 thomas.lange 2010-09-01 10:11:29 UTC
Even though I was unable to reproduce the problem looking at the code showed
that the possible problem still exists in the spell check dialog.
It was already fixed for context menus in issue 112179.

Reopening.

tl->mru: 'working perfectly' is unfortunately only by chance. :-(
I discussed this with SBA and we decided to set the target to OOo 3.4 since the
problem does occur only occasionally.

tl->jrlanglois: Thanks for reporting this one!
